Vi Skogsägare

Vi Skogsägare is the country’s biggest forestry magazine. We write about the country’s most important industry from the perspective of the many private forest owners. We take a look at the practical work that is done in the forest, technological developments, the machinery, the market and owning a forest. We also deal with forest workers’ and forest owners’ living environments, the work involved with property maintenance, transport, vehicles and service.

We cover all aspects of the industry, from seeding and milling, to finished wooden houses, from newsprint to bioenergy and the many other various products that come from the forest. Hunting, fishing, rural tourism and small-scale refi ning are all emerging alongside the usual forestry activities.

In addition to wood and paper, new markets are developing, from bioenergy to own cultivation on forest farms. In this somewhat turbulent world with threatening climate change and environmental problems, many of the solutions to the problems we face today can be found in the forest. And right in the heart of this reality, we find our deeply concerned readers.
